Alterations to the interior shopping center will include new flooring, lighting, landscaping and furniture throughout, according to Westfield officials.

The change to the interior design is influenced by the property’s success with the outdoor patios and areas along Town Center Drive.

“We are focused on modernizing Valencia Town Center, elevating the destination’s ambience, and providing our visitors a lifestyle experience perfectly attuned to the Santa Clarita Valley mindset,” said Corrine Barchanowicz, senior general manager of the Valencia Town Center. “The new interior renovations will also help bridge our outdoor Patios district with Town Center Drive retail and restaurants to help create a more seamless overall experience.”

Due to previous exterior alterations – which include patio areas – the property now includes retailers such as Apple, Lululemon, Brighton Collectibles, first-class dining and other notable brands to the Santa Clarita Valley, according to Westfield.

The project also includes a new children’s play space and a second family lounge area for families as they move through the center between Town Center Drive and the Patio.

In addition, enhancements to the entry at Town Center Drive are expected to include a new façade and awnings, officials said.

The shopping center has recently introduced new entertainment and dining options, which include the addition of The Canyon – Santa Clarita, The Cheesecake Factory, The Dudes’ Brewing Company and Saddle Ranch Chop House.

The Westfield Valencia Town Center is located at 24201 Valencia Boulevard.
