Janine DeBarbieris and Piccolo Lewis celebrated the birth Sunday of Jaxon Lewis, their  13 lb., 2 oz., 23-inch tall son, whom doctors say is the largest baby born at Huntington Memorial in about the last 10 years, according to proud grandmother Cathie Baker.

“The doctor came in (Monday) morning and asked, ‘How’s that 6-month-old I just delivered,’” Baker shared with a laugh.

The baby was delivered via C-section at 8:42 a.m. Sunday. Janine is recovering well, and expected home soon, Baker added. The procedure was a surprise decision due to the size of the baby, she explained.
