Launched in 2023 by the Santa Clarita Valley Water Agency, the SCV Water Academy is a free educational program that gives participants an inside look at how SCV Water serves the Santa Clarita Valley.
Through presentations, discussions and facility tours, participants learn about SCV Water’s history, infrastructure, water supplies, conservation programs, water quality efforts and the challenges facing the water industry. The program also provides opportunities to engage directly with SCV Water staff and industry experts.
Designed as an interactive, in-person experience, the Academy offers a behind-the-scenes perspective on the systems and planning that help ensure a safe, reliable and sustainable water supply for our community.
