Starting Monday, Central Bark Dog Park is set to be closed for improvements for at least two weeks, city officials said.
The Central Bark Dog Park is set to be closed for construction beginning Monday, April 10. The dog park at Central in Saugus is expected to be closed for two weeks, according to officials with the City of Santa Clarita.
“During the closure, the dog (park) will receive a range of new enhancements including lighting, trees, irrigation, shade structures and picnic tables,” officials stated.
While Central Bark is closed, Santa Clarita residents of both the human and canine varieties can visit Canine Country at the Santa Clarita Sports Complex and Five Barks Dog Park at Golden Valley Park.
