The City of Santa Clarita hosted its annual Eggstravaganza in a new spot this year due to the rainstorm.
On Saturday, the City of Santa Clarita hosted its annual Eggstravaganza where kids go on an egg hunt to celebrate Easter.
“This is the second year I’ve brought my kids and it’s so much fun for them to collect the eggs,” said Valerie Esullivan, a mom who brought her two kids.
Every year the event is held at Central Park in Saugus but due to the rainstorm the egg was enjoyed by kids at the Canyon Country Community Center.
The event started at 10 a.m. with each group racing to their baskets with eggs that contained prizes in them.
The eggs contained a variety of prizes, from candy and toys to unique items like bubble machines, stuffed animals and restaurant gift certificates.
In addition kids had the chance to pose for a picture with all their egg filled baskets with the Chick-fil-a cow.
