Are you looking for a new spot to spend your Halloween time? Then, the Haunted Hayride is just the place for you.
Get ready for an exciting journey with KHTS as we continue our multi-part series, unveiling the most extraordinary and thrilling destinations for Santa Clarita residents to explore on their quirky getaway.
In the 75th part of the series, we will explore the Haunted Hayride in Los Angeles.
This year, the Haunted Hayride offers more than ever, including scare mazes, shows, games and rides.
The newest maze to the lineup is Trick or Treat Ding Dong Dead.
As the Halloween spirit takes over, this labyrinth bursts into life, taking visitors on a journey into the homes of Midnight Falls. However, it becomes clear that the spooky locals are planning more pranks than treats. Scary monsters prowl the streets of Trick-or-Treat, shattering the wonderful magic of a classic local Halloween party.
Also making its debut in the Haunted Hayride are the new mini escape rooms.
Mini Escape Games are one-of-a-kind, interactive entertainment! Set the timer: Within the allotted five minutes, your team must decipher the room’s riddles and clues in order to obtain the objects needed to complete the objective.
Tickets for the mini escape room are only $5, whether it’s bought online or in person.
Other interactive experiences include the Zombie Splat Gellyball Experience.
In this experience, shooters will defend Midnight Falls from the legion of zombies!
Due to its tiny size and use of a colored water balloon, Gellyball is entirely safe. Unlike regular paintball, it has a significantly lighter impact and leaves no lasting mess.
Guests will engage in a zombie apocalypse simulator, shooting at real actors in goggles, which will be supplied at no additional cost. One hopper containing 700 rounds of GellyBalls will be provided and the experience will last about five minutes.
In between the mazes and interactive experience, guests can enjoy the Monte Revolta show.
Those brave enough to take an adventure can go on the scary-go-round. After that, the only thing left is the Haunted Hayride.
As the hayride winds its way through the Midnight Falls foothills, the leaves begin to turn a fiery brown, and the line between life and death becomes increasingly blurry. After casting her magic, the Witch of the Woods invites the dead to come to Earth and merge with the living. On the hayride, an exciting journey among the town’s dreadful inhabitants ensues.
The witch, enchanted as she is, orders her army of crops and flesh to exact retribution on those who threw her out. For the brave souls who mustered the courage to ride The Hayride, the Halloween spirit materializes all around them.
All these attractions are set to run until Nov. 2. To purchase tickets, click here.
