Extremely Quirky Destinations For Santa Clarita Residents To Visit – The Ripley’s Believe It Or Not Museum

The Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum is the perfect quirky destination for people of all ages.

Get ready for an exciting journey with KHTS as we continue our multi-part series, unveiling the most extraordinary and thrilling destinations for Santa Clarita residents to explore on their quirky getaway.

In the 66th part of the series, we will explore Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum in Hollywood.

Guests at Ripley’s historic Odditorium in Hollywood can’t help but be captivated by the iconic dinosaur perched on the roof. Once inside, they’ll be treated to a plethora of new and astounding exhibits, many of which are interactive and designed to keep the whole family entertained.

There are over 35,000 rare items on display at the Ripley’s Museum, so the possibilities for discovery are endless.

Inside, guests can find Brad Pitt, Jack Nicholson, Frank Sinatra, Liz Taylor, and Marilyn Monroe—among others—showcased in ways that the public has never seen before. Visitors can marvel at celebrity-inspired works of art fashioned from various materials, such as candy, junk mail and even a life-size statue of Arnold Schwarzenegger from the film Terminator adorned with dozens of three-dimensional scenes from major Hollywood blockbusters.

Many of the artifacts are unique, like the flag that a Chilean miner waved when he emerged from a mine after 69 days, which all 33 rescued men signed.

Among the other unusual items are a 1975 FBI Wanted poster for Patty Hearst, a bag constructed from soda cans, armor for dogs from the 17th century, and a plethora of early, strange, rare and frequently bizarre artifacts associated with Hollywood celebrities.

The entire museum takes one to two hours, depending on how much time is spent at each interactive station.
