Santa Clarita Valley families looking for a fun dining experience look no further than the Harry Potter–themed dining experience at the Three Broomsticks restaurant located at Universal Studios Hollywood.

In the 148th installment of the KHTS “Quirky Destinations” for Santa Clarita families to visit, we travel to Universal Studios Hollywood to experience the Harry Potter–themed restaurant Three Broomsticks, named after the fictional pub from the Harry Potter books and films.

In the wizarding village of Hogsmeade, the Three Broomsticks is a cozy inn and tavern where students from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry gather to eat, drink Butterbeer and socialize.

In real life, guests can enjoy a similar experience by grabbing a Butterbeer while dining with friends. 

Inside, visitors will notice themed details such as cast-iron chandeliers, weathered wood beams and balconies brimming with curious bric-a-brac.

Guests can take a seat and enjoy a variety of British-inspired fare, including “The Great Feast,” which consists of a combination of herb-roasted chicken and spare ribs, double herb-roasted chicken or double spare ribs. The meal is served with corn on the cob, fresh vegetables and roasted potatoes. A starter salad with signature vinaigrette can be added for $4.99 per person.

Other dining options include Fish and Chips, Shepherd’s Pie, Fresh Vegetables and Bangers and Mash.

For early birds, breakfast is also available, including a Traditional English Breakfast featuring fresh scrambled eggs, a sausage link, bacon, baked beans, baked tomato and potatoes served with a butter croissant.

To drink, guests can try several variations of Butterbeer, including frozen, cold, or hot options, with the choice of serving it in a metal stein.

For dessert, options include Sticky Toffee Pudding, Butterbeer Potted Cream, Butterbeer Ice Lolly and Butterbeer Ice Cream, among others.
