Family Promise of Santa Clarita Valley invites the community to its Giving Day Open House next week.
Giving Day is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. held at the newly opened Williams Hope House Resource Center, at 23652 Newhall Avenue Newhall.
This special event offers an opportunity for community members to tour the new facility—including emergency and interim housing units—while supporting families experiencing housing instability.
Guests are encouraged to bring donations of urgently needed essentials, such as:
- Full-size toiletries
- Cleaning products
- Diapers and wipes
- Gift cards (grocery, gas, Target, Walmart, etc.)
“These everyday items can make a world of difference for families experiencing housing instability,” said Carmen Garcia, executive director of Family Promise SCV. “Giving Day is a chance for our community to come together and provide hope, support, and resources to those who need it most.”
Attendees will enjoy light refreshments, have a chance to connect with the Family Promise team, and learn more about the organization’s impact in Santa Clarita.
The event also offers opportunities to discover ways to get involved—whether through volunteering, advocacy or continued giving.
The Williams Hope House represents a major step forward in addressing family homelessness in the Santa Clarita Valley.
Family Promise SCV is proud to open its doors to the community on this meaningful day of giving and connection.
