Fright Fest Returns To Six Flags Magic Mountain With New Attractions

As summer temperatures sizzle, Six Flags Magic Mountain is already cooling things down with a dose of dread: Fright Fest is returning for the 2025 season.

Running from Sept. 19 through Nov. 2, this year’s Fright Fest presented by Snickers brings back fan-favorite haunted mazes, terrifying scare zones, electrifying shows and introduces three brand-new experiences.

New Maze and Scare Zones Debuting in 2025

NEW! Maze: Carnage presented by M&M’S
Get ready to enter the chaotic fortress of Carnage, a maniacal clown commanding a legion of followers in a dystopian nightmare. Located in the DC Universe, this new maze promises high-voltage horror and twisted theatrics like never before.

NEW! Scare Zone: Thunderbolt Alley
Cruise into a hellish 1950s rockabilly afterlife, where monsters burn rubber in this retro horror show on wheels. Set in The Underground, Thunderbolt Alley blends nostalgia with nightmare.

NEW! Scare Zone: Nightmares: Reign of Blood
A dark twist on a childhood classic awaits in Mining Town, where a bloodthirsty Queen of Hearts reigns over a Wonderland drenched in red. This twisted fairytale world will challenge your sanity.

Maze Lineup

Step into horror’s greatest cinematic universes and original nightmares, including:

  • The Conjuring Universe (Mining Town) – Explore the Warrens’ occult museum in a maze inspired by the legendary horror franchise.
  • SAW: Legacy of Terror (Boardwalk) – Navigate deadly traps and psychological terror in Jigsaw’s domain.
  • Trick ‘r Treat (Near Riddler’s Revenge) – Break Halloween’s sacred rules at your own peril.
  • Truth or Dare presented by Skittles (Park Entrance) – Play a sadistic game show where each choice carries terrifying consequences.
  • Condemned: Forever Damned presented by Snickers (Park Entrance) – Haunted house horror at its rawest and most relentless.
  • Willoughby’s: Resurrected (Samurai Summit) – The Willoughby mansion’s ghosts are far from resting in peace.
  • Vault 666 (Park Entrance) – Demonic relics and cursed artifacts await inside this cursed antique shop.

Scare Zones: Terror in Every Corner

Fright Fest’s horror isn’t confined to mazes. Scare Zones across the park keep the fear flowing:

  • City Under Siege (DC Universe) – Clown chaos returns with the forces of Carnage.
  • Underworlds of Oz (Screampunk District) – A twisted Emerald City casts its dark spell.
  • CarnivHELL (Bugs Bunny World) – Enter a demented circus of flesh-hungry carnies.
  • Devil’s Triangle (Park Entrance) – Haunted sea caves echo with the cries of lost souls.
  • Exile Hill (Samurai Summit) – The Willoughby family’s cursed spirits roam freely.
  • Grimmlore Ridge (Baja Ridge) – Dark fairy tales come alive in this shadowy forest.
  • Plaza De La Muerte (Whistlestop Park) – Día de los Muertos meets eerie elegance.

Live Shows during Fright Fest:

  • Unleashed (DC Universe) – The kickoff ceremony that sets the horror loose across the park.
  • NEW! Margo Rita’s Monster Ball (Full Throttle Plaza) – Drag meets the undead in a dance-off hosted by the glamorous Margo Rita.
  • Sliders of the Night (DC Universe) – Watch undead acrobats spark the night with gravity-defying stunts and sliding mayhem.

Kid-Friendly Halloween Fun: Magic Mountain Trick or Treats

Starting September 26, families can enjoy Tricks and Treats, a daytime event perfect for children.

With fun-size scares, candy trails, seasonal snacks, and costumed characters, it’s all the fun of Halloween without the fright.

From morning mischief to midnight madness, Six Flags Magic Mountain’s Fright Fest will transform the park into a haunted haven for every kind of thrill-seeker.
