At the Castaic Care Center, dozens of animals wait each day for a chance at a new beginning. Among them is Kuzco, a 12-year-old neutered male cat who has quickly become a standout at the shelter.

Kuzco, listed as #A5739638, is known for his calm, affectionate nature. Staff describe him as a gentle companion who loves curling up on a warm lap and soaking in every bit of attention.

His steady purr and relaxed demeanor make him an ideal match for anyone looking for a quiet, loyal friend.

While many senior pets are overlooked, Kuzco demonstrates the unique comfort and companionship older animals can bring. He enjoys spending time with people, sitting beside them, and offering the simple, steady presence that only a seasoned pet can provide.

Kuzco represents just one of the many adoptable animals at the Castaic Care Center, where staff members work daily to connect pets with families ready to provide safe and loving homes.

Those interested in meeting Kuzco or other adoptable animals can visit the Castaic Shelter, open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
