“We should remember 9/11 everyday, it should be in the back of everyone’s mind, how dramatically how a day can go from normal to end up being one of the worst days in our nation,” said Congressman Mike Garcia.

During the event, there was a flyover with AT6 World War II aircrafts flying in from Van Nuy’s airport.

In addition, there were fire trucks, military vehicles and various law enforcement cars, a dragster and mini carts from MB2 Entertainment that kicked off the day.

Council member Jason Gibbs | Dani Gallegos

“It’s an opportunity for us to reflect on the event of Sept. 11, 2001, a day that changed our nation forever. Today we gather to ensure that we never forget,” said Jason Gibbs, council member.

Guardians SCV mission is to reach and bring together like-minded individuals with similar backgrounds and experiences in the Military, Law Enforcement and Firefighter professions with a focus on building camaraderie through strong relationships and fostering personal growth with reflection and transparency.
