The Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation announced the addition of three new members to the board of directors and said farewell to years of leadership at a February meeting.

Don Kimball, Community President for FivePoint, Robert Stern, CPA for Stern, Kory, Sreden & Morgan, and Tracy L. Lawrence, MD, Director of Emergency Services at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, were officially added to the board this week.

Marlee Lauffer, President of Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation, asked the community, hospital staff and board of directors to welcome the newly appointed members.

“Please join me in extending a warm welcome to our newest members: Don Kimball, community president at FivePoint, Tracy Lawrence, MD, director of Emergency Services, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, and  Robert Stern, CPA, Stern, Kory, Morgan & Sreden,” said Marlee Lauffer, president of the Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation.

Following the resignation of a few foundation board members, Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital Foundation sought to find suitable replacements for the exiting members.

Robert Benjamin left the foundation board, but will continue to serve on the hospital board as a finance committee member, according to hospital officials.

David Henry served as director of Emergency Medicine at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, and was also a co-chair of the physician giving campaign for the patient tower.

Ron Morgan served as foundation board treasurer, and has also served on the audit committee.

“We are so grateful for the years of leadership our retiring foundation board members Bob Benjamin, David Henry, and Ron Morgan have provided the hospital and foundation,” said Lauffer. “We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.”
