Looking for a place to relax and let go of your troubles? A new mindfulness center is coming to Old Town Newhall!

Rise Mindful Healing is the fruition of the founders’ own journeys for self-care and healing. Best friends and co-founders Gracie and Jennifer, who prefer to be known by their first names.

“Our intention is to create a space that supports people in our community,” Jennifer said. “To give them space, whether it’s healing from trauma and coping with day-to-day stress, it’s there to help them unwind, unplug and destress.”

The wellness center is planned to offer an array of different mindfulness practices in an intimate setting, including meditation, restorative yoga, breath work, and sound baths. Additionally, we’ll provide amenities such as a sauna, red light therapy, and cold plunge.

“Just like you would go to the gym for physical aspects, this place is for mental focus, a place to be still and heal,” Gracie said.

Dedicated to being a serene center of mindfulness and relaxation, the new business is going into the space formerly held by Abe’s Pawn Shop on Main Street, just south of 8th Street in Newhall.

Rise Mindful Healing aims to open in early 2025, according to its founders.
