Santa Clarita Circus Vargas Postponed

The 2022 Circus Vargas Santa Clarita show has been temporarily postponed until further notice.

The original show, scheduled from May 27 to June 6 outside the Westfield Valencia Town Center, has been temporarily postponed for unknown reasons. 

Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to make our planned appearance at Westfield Valencia Town Center as scheduled,” said Emily White with Circus Vargas. “We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience and disappointment and are hopeful to appear at Westfield Valencia Town Center at a future date during our tour.”

With world-class performers and death-defying acts, the two-hour family-friendly show has been visiting the Santa Clarita Valley for many years, delivering the finest in live family entertainment. 

The Circus Vargas website assures that ticket holders can redeem their existing ticket for their next show. Pre-Purchased tickets will be fully refundable and/or transferable. Complimentary & Promotional tickets will also be valid for later dates and/or other locations.

Subsequently, Circus Vargas will be extending dates at Laguna Hills Mall in Orange County, May 26 through June 5.

  2. The circus has always been INSIDE the mall.

    • The circus is trying to drive anywhere near the Mall because the non-snychronoized traffic signals act like road super-glue.
      I know! Let’s put a Costco Gas Station on the roof!

  4. Almost 30 years ago the circus was held at the speedway property on Soledad. It worked out great there. Maybe they can have it there again.

    Too bad Bonelli family closed the Saugus Speedway race track. The races were fun.

    • They did not maintain it. It became a hazard
      The city could have bought it, like the ice rink.
      It could be repurposed into homeless mental health and addiction treatment internment camp.

Born and raised in Santa Clarita, Rachel Matta has always had a love for writing and media. The first time she ever smiled was actually while she was laying next to her mom as she flipped through the pages of a magazine.
