Santa Clarita Transit Announces Its Holiday Schedule For 2025

The Santa Clarita Transit has recently announced its updated holiday schedule for commuter routes in observance of Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve for Santa Clarita commuters.

For Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, the commuter routes are expected to follow a modified schedule that includes midday service, according to Santa Clarita Transit.

All other routes, including local and 757 routes,  are set to resume their normal schedules on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve in light of the holiday schedule, according to Santa Clarita Transit.

Santa Clarita can find the transit’s new holiday schedule for routes 799-794, routes 796-791, and routes 797-792 on the Santa Clarita Transit website.

In the new 2025 holiday schedule, all the aforementioned routes are expected to operate at the same times on Wednesday, Dec. 24, and Wednesday, Dec. 31, for Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, respectively.

Santa Clarita residents planning to take routes 799-794 on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve should note the new holiday times if they’re leaving Santa Clarita for Los Angeles or leaving Los Angeles for Santa Clarita.

For routes 796-791, Santa Clarita residents should also note the new holiday times if they’re traveling from Santa Clarita to Warner Center or from Warner Center to Santa Clarita.

Santa Clarita residents who plan to take routes 797-792 should expect to commute from Santa Clarita to Century City or from Century City to Santa Clarita.

On Christmas Day, Thursday, Dec. 25th, Santa Clarita residents should expect to see no service, including local, commuter, DAR and GO! Santa Clarita On Demand, according to the Santa Clarita Transit.

All bus routes are scheduled to run on a Sunday schedule on New Year’s Day.

It’s unknown if the winter storm will impact the Santa Clarita Transit holiday schedule, but Santa Clarita residents should note that schedules are subject to change, according to the Santa Clarita Transit.

Santa Clarita residents should also be aware that the Santa Clarita Transit does not offer refunds and that they assume no responsibility for delays, etc. that are caused by “weather, road/highway conditions, accidents, acts of God, etc.”

For Santa Clarita residents who want to see the Spanish translation of the transit’s announcement of the new schedule, they can also visit the website for more information.
