Six Flags Magic Mountain Announces Date For Looney Tunes Land

Six Flags Magic Mountain has set an opening date for its newest attraction, Looney Tunes Land, scheduled for this summer.

The grand opening celebration is set for June 6, according to an Instagram post shared by the park. Special previews are expected to start the weekend of May 23-24.

The new land replaces the park’s existing kids area and is designed to evoke the warm, nostalgic style of the Chuck Jones era of Looney Tunes, according to Six Flags.

The area features four themed zones centered around beloved characters, each with its own look, landscaping and storytelling elements.

At the center will be Bugs Bunny Play Park, a refreshed gathering space with free-play zones, a refurbished Merrie Melodies Merrie-Go-Round and updates to Wascal’s restaurant, including picnic seating and an explorable Granny’s House façade.

Guests can also explore Road Runner Ridge, a New Mexico-inspired desert landscape filled with hidden ACME traps; TAZ-Mania, a tropical zone featuring the rethemed Taz’s Tasmanian Train Tours and a new exploration trail; and Camp Duck Amuck, a High Sierra-themed area led by Daffy Duck, complete with conservation-themed rides and a renovated Looney Tunes Lodge, according to Six Flags.
