SpaceX announced the scheduled launch of its rocket Falcon 9 from Space Launch Complex 4E (SLC-4E) to deploy more Starlink mini-satellites.

The Falcon 9 rocket is scheduled to launch tonight at approximately 7:28 PDT from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California carrying a payload of 20 Starlink mini-satellites, according to SpaceX officials.

Earlier this year, SpaceX conducted a similar mission with the same rocket. Falcon 9 is a reusable, two-stage rocket designed and manufactured by SpaceX for the reliable and safe transport of people and payloads into Earth orbit and beyond.

The booster will attempt to land on SpaceX’s autonomous spaceport drone ship “Of Course I Still Love You” stationed in the Pacific Ocean.

This is the Falcon 9’s 26th mission of 2024.

A total solar eclipse, another space event,  is also anticipated to happen next month April 8, 2024. For more information, click here.
