Two DMV Kiosks Added To Ralphs Locations In Santa Clarita

Two new Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) Kiosks have been added to two Ralph’s locations in Santa Clarita, officials said.

The new DMV kiosks were added at the Ralphs in Castaic and the Ralphs location in Valencia, according to officials.

These kiosks are set to give users the opportunity to complete registration renewal, file for planned non-operation status, pay a vehicle registration suspension reinstatement fee, submit an affidavit of non-use, and submit proof of insurance when requested by the Vehicle Insurance Program, according to officials.

Once users complete their tasks, the kiosks are able to print registration cards and stickers, planned non-operation acknowledgments, and receipts.

However, users cannot use the Kiosks for renewing vessels, as they require issuance of a different sticker not available through kiosks. They are also unable to accept proof of insurance for registration renewal, nor process a change of address, according to officials.

The two new kiosks are located at the Ralphs at 27760 McBean Parkway and the Ralphs located at 29675 The Old Road in Castaic.

These two new kiosks now join the two existing ones located at the Von’s located at 16550 Soledad Canyon Road, and the Albertson’s located at 27631 Bouquet Canyon Road in Saugus.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
