Valencia Chick-Fil-A To Temporarily Close

The Valencia Chick-Fil-A is temporarily closing this Thursday, however, good things are coming soon.

Last week, officials with Chick-Fil-A announced that their Valencia location on Magic Mountain Parkway will be closing on Thursday May 1, at 2 p.m.

The closure is due to the restaurant remodeling their kitchen and dining room, according to their social media post.

While Santa Clarita will briefly be without Chick-Fil-A, officials hint that the new location outside City limits on The Old Road will soon be opening.

“That means Santa Clarita will be Chick-fil-A—less for a little bit—but trust us, it’ll be worth the wait,” Chick-Fil-A officials said in their social media post.

In the past, there were plans to build a third Chick-Fil-A location on Soledad Canyon Road near Santa Clarita Lanes.

However, that project was never approved by the City, and in March, it was confirmed the restaurant stopped pursuing plans to build the location.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
