We’re Moving! Next Stop: Valencia

After years of broadcasting from the heart of Old Town Newhall, KHTS Radio is moving to the Valencia Industrial Center, marking an exciting new chapter for our hometown radio station.

Our move comes as the building currently housing KHTS on Main Street is expected to be the incoming Hartwell mixed-use development luxury apartments, which aims to bring new residential and retail opportunities to the area.

Since purchasing the station in 1990, KHTS owners Jeri Seratti-Goldman and Carl Goldman say this move reflects both the station’s growth over the years and its continued commitment to serving the Santa Clarita Valley community – with studios now having called nearly every corner of Santa Clarita home.

“This is the 4th time we’ve moved since we purchased the radio station in 1990. Over the years our radio station studios have been in Canyon Country, Saugus (when Clearwater owned the station), Newhall and now Valencia. We were there at the beginning of the transformation of Old Town Newhall and were thrilled to see its progress. We’re sad to leave but excited that we’re headed to new digs in the Valencia industrial center. We look forward to the new transformation of KHTS on the west side of town. This is just the beginning!” said Carl Goldman, co-owner of KHTS Radio.

For many years, our Main Street studio has been more than just a workplace – it’s been a gathering place for local businesses, nonprofits, elected officials, students and residents to share their stories and connect with one another. We’ve had the opportunity to celebrate local achievements, support families in times of need with our nonprofits Santa Clarita Coalition and Santa Clarita Grocery, highlight community events and keep our listeners informed through breaking news, emergencies and everyday moments that matter most.

While we’re looking forward to settling into our new home in Valencia, we want to thank the Old Town Newhall community for welcoming us and supporting our mission of hyperlocal storytelling over the years. Your voices, stories and partnership have helped shape who we are today.

As we make this transition, our commitment remains the same – to inform, connect and celebrate the Santa Clarita Valley. We’re excited for what’s ahead and look forward to continuing to serve our community from our new home on the west side of town.
