The Zonta Club of Santa Clarita is set to hold a workshop on recognizing unhealthy relationships and creating boundaries for women.

The online workshop on unhealthy relationships, set to take place at 10 a.m. on Oct. 30, is part of Zonta’s Life Forward program offering monthly skill-building workshops for women.

Those attending the workshop are set to learn from Tracy Taris, a licensed marriage and family therapist, about personal and relationship boundaries and what kinds of boundaries exist in relationships.

At the workshop, Taris is also slated to give attendees tools to create personal boundaries, as well as tips to identify and address personal boundary violations.

In addition, Taris is scheduled to speak about how to honor oneself with self-care in relationships.

On top of being a therapist, Taris is president and owner of Healing the Mind & Spirit, Inc. where she leads a team of counselors.

Her group practice is located here in the Santa Clarita Valley where psychotherapy services are provided in the form of couples, family, individual, adolescent and child therapy as well as coaching services that cover a variety of topics from creative blocks, nutritional problems and women’s issues.

Taris is also part of a team of therapists working to provide counseling to students at the College of the Canyons Student Health and Wellness Center.

Those who plan to attend can register in advance.
