A suspect was arrested after law enforcement recovered drugs and multiple firearms during a search warrant operation in Canyon Country.
Narcotics Bureau detectives were assisted by Special Assignment Team (SAT) deputies, who served a search warrant on Canvas Street in Canyon Country, targeting alleged drug sales in the community, officials with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station said.
During the operation, law enforcement took a suspect into custody after recovering approximately one ounce of cocaine, two ounces of psilocybin, three pounds of marijuana, and 19 firearms, including two assault-style rifles, according to officials.
As a result, the suspect was booked on narcotics and weapons-related charges at the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“This is our community, and this kind of activity is unacceptable. For many of us, this is home. We work here, we live here, and we are committed to keeping SCV safe for your families and ours,” Sheriff’s officials said.
The investigation currently remains ongoing.
“We have zero tolerance for drug dealers operating in the SCV,” Sheriff’s officials said.
