A total of 34 individuals were arrested in the Santa Clarita Valley over the weekend. The arrests included a range of offenses, resulting in nine felony charges and 24 misdemeanors.

Authorities reported that 18 of those arrested were not residents of the Santa Clarita Valley, while 16 were local residents.

Among the incidents were four domestic violence arrests, six DUI-related offenses, and two cases of assault with a deadly weapon (not a firearm), both involving great bodily injury.

Additional charges included grand theft, petty theft with prior convictions, shoplifting, and vandalism causing damage valued at $400 or more.

Several drug-related arrests were made, including individuals found in possession of controlled substances and drug paraphernalia. Some of these offenses occurred while suspects were already in custody. One person was arrested for possessing a controlled substance with multiple prior convictions.

Other charges ranged from battery, driving with a suspended or revoked license, and failure to appear for traffic warrants, to more serious offenses such as disobeying a domestic relations court order and battery on emergency personnel without injury.

One person was taken into custody for allegedly distributing harmful material to a minor.

In a separate case, a transient individual from Palmdale was arrested within Santa Clarita city limits. However, authorities did not release details regarding the specific charges.
