Michael White, 48, was sentenced to three years and eight months in state prison, said Ricardo Santiago, spokesman for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
White plead no contest on Jan. 29 to one count each of fleeing a pursuing peace officer’s motor vehicle while driving, driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage within 10 years of that offense and driving with a 0.08 percent blood alcohol content within 10 years of three or more violations, said Santiago.
CHP West Los Angeles officers began pursuit of White’s vehicle, which was weaving through traffic at a high rate of speed at approximately 2:17 a.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2015, said Officer John Lutz, of the Newhall CHP station in a previous story.
The chase moved into the San Fernando Valley area around 2:30 a.m., when CHP West Valley took over the pursuit, Lutz said.
