Officials detained several teenagers Saturday afternoon when they reportedly found them to be in possession of drugs and a handgun after deputies spotted them littering in Valencia.
At around 4 p.m. Saturday, deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station made contact with a group of teenagers in Granary Square after allegedly spotting them littering.
The deputies then proceeded to search the teenagers car after detecting a marijuana-like odor coming from them, according to officials on scene.
After finding a handgun and several drugs in the vehicle, deputies proceeded to detain the teenagers.
No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.

That looks the same car that pulled over on Arroyo Park at 2:00 Thurs. morning. They got out of the car yelling checked the trunk then got back in and headed back out.

Were they Santa Clarita residents or from some other area? Were they still in school, if so which high school?
Wow!!! SCV’s finest at it again. Profiling much! Scary to think that the law enforcement that is supposed to be protecting this city, cannot determine a real gun from a fake gun. Yeah, that BB gun right there… watch out! Always so quick just to profile people and try to charge them with anything and everything so you can make your quota and get a pat on the head. Reminds me of the time the entire force and bird were dispatched to detain 2 people who supposedly had waived a gun at someone earlier in the day, only to realize the victim lied and made a fake report and the people whom you demoralized, embarrassed, and caused damage to their vehicle, had no gun, let alone own any guns, but was assumed they did based on what the victim said about these poor people.
These kids had pot. Who cares. Write them a ticket for littering and move on to taking down real criminals. It’s only going to get worse people. You think they are the best at what they do and can do no wrong? Just wait until it happens to you or someone you love and watch how they treat you.
I agree with you I just got a text from a stepbrother who is the stepbrother to someone involved in this. I am very worried bc I used to date one of them we’re on a break but not the point. I am very worried and no one knows where they took him bc he has not called the stepbrother or the parents. His friends told the stepbrother and he then told me. The point is I really wanna know where they took him so I can help so if you guys know let me know. Even if it is a pellet gun there’s no reason to carry that around other then to pretend it’s a real gun ( especially when kids like this think they’re world class drug dealers) ya they shouldn’t be arrested but they’re just stupid to have that shit on them and deserve whatever happens.

Frankie: Profiling happens because of the majority of facts/truths! Why aren’t Japanese profiled!?!? The majority of cities are plagued by 2 groups of “minorities”, those all given free taxpayer paid school from K-12, and they don’t include Asians. Once detained, a real life gun & drugs was found, probably used for bad purposes! Stop excusing LE & society for the continued bad behavior of 2 resisting groups & change the groups that constantly cause our problems!!

We saw these kids and took photos of their cars, thinking we might shame them via social media (we never did though). We were so disgusted by them dumping bags of trash from their cars. My friend wanted to call the sheriff but I declined thinking the sheriff department has more serious concerns these days. The kids were clearly smoking dope or vaping (clouds of smoke were billowing from their windows), but that is legal. The grandma in me was tempted to confront them but I laughingly said “these days you never know who has a gun!” I’m so glad we didn’t confront them. The trash was truly disgusting but didn’t seem to warrant a call to the sheriffs. I’m so glad they were busted.
I got a text not too long ago from the stepbrother of one of the people involved in this incident. I am very worried about him and no one knows where he is. AKA which jail he is at or if he is at the sheriffs’ department. His friend told the stepbrother who then told me. I used to date him(not the point) and I just wanna know which location he is at so then I could help him. so if u guys know where they took the teenagers- let me know, please. Tomorrow there will be some type of hearing or trial or something and I don’t think anyone is going so I am trying to get some info to make some calls. before the AM

The stepbrother and the rest of the family know about me, but the parents do not all because of their religion. Not that it is your concern or business lol. How can you say “turn the teenager around” when you do not know them? What if they were caught up in something that they never wanted to be a part of. So as I was saying if anyone knows where they took them please let me know otherwise keep it to yourself. The whole reason why I said something is because I wanna help him and his family.
