First responders arrived at the scene of a possible shooting at a home in Santa Clarita on Tuesday morning.

About 7:29 a.m. Tuesday, emergency responders received reports of a possible shooting at a home on the 25400 block of Plaza Escovar in Valencia, according to Leslie Lua, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

“It came in as a possible active shooter,” Lua said.

Officials from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station confirmed that law enforcement had responded to the scene.

One person involved in the incident was transported to the hospital in unknown condition as of 8:20 a.m.

As of 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, officials on scene confirmed that a window has been damaged as a result of the incident.
