Detectives Seek Identity Of Valencia Vehicle Burglary Suspect

Detectives are seeking the identity of a Valencia vehicle burglary suspect who used the victim’s credit cards to allegedly buy hundreds of dollars of products, officials said.

On Tuesday, Sept. 22, between the hours of 6:45 PM and 7:20 PM, a female suspect burglarized the victim’s vehicle and stole her purse and wallet, according to Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

The victim’s car was parked at Heritage Park on the 24100 block of Newhall Ranch Road in Valencia, according to Arriaga.

During the evening hours, the suspect allegedly shattered the back window of the vehicle and stole the victim’s wallet, according to Sheriff’s officials.

“The suspect then used the victim’s credit cards at a retail store in Canyon Country,” Arriaga wrote in a statement.

Using the stolen credit cards, the suspect bought $800 in Visa and Mastercard gift cards, according to Sheriff’s officials.

The suspect, a female Hispanic, was seen driving a 2014-2020 silver or light-colored Chevy Impala, according to investigators.

Detectives are hoping the public can help identify the suspect. If you have any information, please call Detective Barnes at 661-255-1121 ext. 5138.
