A juvenile was injured in an accidental shooting Sunday near the Canyon Country In-N-Out Burger.

Just before 2 a.m. Sunday, deputies received reports of a shooting on the 28000 block of Sand Canyon Road near the In-N- Out Burger, said Deputy Kabrina Borbon, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

A juvenile reportedly shot another individual with a firearm, according to officials.

“The victim (also a male juvenile) is being treated for an injury,” Borbon said.

The suspect, whose name and age have not been released, was arrested for negligent discharge of a firearm, Borbon added.

The suspect was transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station and remains in custody as of Monday afternoon.
