Man Attempting To Stab Pedestrians In Newhall Prompts Law Enforcement Response

A man attempting to stab pedestrians in Newhall prompted a response from law enforcement Tuesday afternoon.

Around 2 p.m. Tuesday, first responders received reports of a man attempting to stab people in Newhall near the intersection of 8th Street and Railroad Avenue, said Lt. Jim Royal, for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“A male white in his twenties threatened some people and had a knife,” Royal said. “He ran southbound on Railroad.”

As of 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, the man was potentially headed towards the Newhall Metrolink station or the Bridge to Home shelter in the area and is still outstanding, according to deputies on scene.

No injuries have been reported as of 2:30 in the afternoon.

  1. Thanks Liberals for welcoming the bums with open arms. ?now what….you move to the next nice suburban area and vote the same fu%ked up way.

  2. Well, why shouldn’t he go around stabbing people? We’ve all been completely disarmed by the State, so there’s no risk to him. If he does get caught Gascon will immediately release him without posting bail, so he’ll never see any detrimental effect to his actions. Given this lawless no consequences environment I’m very surprised there aren’t 20 incidents like this a day in the SCV alone.
