A call for an alleged attempted stabbing in Canyon Country resulted in the arrest of one man on Saturday.

At about 10:15 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to the 27900 block of Tyler Lane in Canyon Country regarding an alleged attempted stabbing, according to Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the SCV Sheriff’s Station.

According to Arriaga, the initial report stated that one man attempted to stab another.

“After investigation, it was determined no assault with a deadly weapon had occurred, rather a battery had taken place,” Arriaga said.
