One Detained After Deputy-Involved Fight In Canyon Country

One person was detained Tuesday night after allegedly fighting a deputy in Canyon Country.

Just before 7:50 p.m. Tuesday, reports were received of a deputy involved fight in the Monterra Ridge apartment complex on the 28000 block of Whites Canyon Road in Canyon Country.

“Santa Clarita Sheriff’s deputies were the informant on scene- they called us,” said Supervisor Ornelas with the Los Angeles County Fire Dept. “A deputy was involved, but no one was transported.”

Though no one was transported to a local hospital, the injuries were listed as unknown, according to Supervisor Ornelas.

One person was detained following the altercation, according to officials on scene.

  2. As usual, supposed reporter David Melarnik told no facts/truths!! What did they look like, cars, tattoos, clothing, etc.! Just grabbing empty headlines!!
