Over 100 oxycodone pills and meth were allegedly discovered on a suspect by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies during a Castaic arrest north of Santa Clarita over the weekend.

On Saturday night, deputies with the SCV Station encountered a Pine Mountain Club man during a traffic stop for a vehicle code violation, according to Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the station.
“As they approached the driver, they saw he had a baggie of narcotics within reach inside the car,” Arriaga said.

On a subsequent search of the car, deputies located over 100 oxycodone pills not prescribed to the suspect, methamphetamine and contraband similar for use of sales of narcotics, according to Arriaga.
34-year-old Nikolaus Seibert, of Pine Mountain Club, was arrested on felony charges for possession of oxycodone for sales and possession of methamphetamine. He was later released on citation.

Why must you use phrases like “allegedly” ? What a shame. The message from the sheriffs station sounded like true reporting. Yours reads like an accusation against the deputies. Way to go feeding into societies distrust of law enforcement. Thankfully, most of the residents of Santa Clarita know better.
