Panhandler Vandalizes Car After Owner Refused To Give Him Money, Suspect Arrested

A man was arrested on felony vandalism Wednesday after he allegedly damaged someone’s window in Santa Clarita after they declined to give him money.

On Wednesday, deputies responded to Soledad Canyon Road and Ruether Avenue in Canyon Country regarding a vandalism call for service, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“It was reported a male adult transient had shattered a car window after throwing objects at cars for not giving him money,” Arriaga said.

Deputies arrived on scene and were directed to the suspect.

“The victim positively identified the male detained as the suspect,” Arriaga said.

Rocael Raymundo was arrested and booked for felony vandalism, Arriaga added.

He was later released on a citation with a promise to appear in court.

  1. I’m fine with the lack of justice so long as I would get the same “catch ‘n’ release” non-repercussions if I were to beat down a street criminal for damaging my property. But, the fact is that I would get arrested, incarcerated, and have to make $500K bail if I were to touch one of the protected class.

I would prefer a working, uniform justice system, but the liberals won’t permit that. And now that we’ve completely lost the right to honest elections in CA, there’s nothing we can do about it.

  2. Swell newsom, gascon & the voters who voted to keep newsom in office. Victims blood is on your hands.

    • Blah, blah, blah…quick go back inside your bunker the sky is falling. Your endless, baseless rants must keep you warm at night. LOSER

      • Alice in Wonderland, you’re response is a condoning, hysterical, childish diversion! If you and your Liberal cabal cared about people/society, you’d work to improve it rather than condone/side with it! Why do you fear/resist the truth/facts/realities?!

      • Get back inside your ivory tower, Alice. I hope this vandal doesn’t smash your window and hurt you and your loved ones, although that’s probably the only way you would care…

  3. TAP & Kms, Truthful/factual words well spoken! Unbelievable what’s going on and approved/voted for by the Liberal Demonic Sheeple!

  4. Should have been 664/211PC

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
