Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies with the Narcotics Bureau conducted the check on the 26000 block of Calhaven Drive at the residence of 34-year-old Brian Cosgrove, according to Shirley Miller, public information officer for the Sheriff’s Station.

“When deputies conducted their search, they found Cosgrove to be in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia,” Miller said.

Cosgrove was arrested at 10:05 a.m. on misdemeanor drug possession charges and transported to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, where he was booked. Bail was set at $1,000, arrest records show.

He is scheduled to appear at the Santa Clarita Courthouse on Friday.
