A Santa Clarita realtor was arrested in Florida on Monday for two counts of sexual assault alleged to have occurred in Las Vegas in August of last year.
On Monday, March 8, Santa Clarita realtor Mike Bjorkman was arrested and taken into custody in Miami-Dade County, Florida, and is now awaiting extradition to Nevada in connection with an outstanding warrant for alleged sexual assault on Aug. 29, 2020.
Bjorkman is the head of Team Bjorkman Real Estate in Valencia, and has been involved in many local nonprofits and charity organizations.
An extradition hearing to determine Bjorkman’s transfer to Nevada is set to be heard on Wednesday, March 24, according to the Miami-Dade County Clerk’s Office in Florida.
No specific information regarding the charges were available to KHTS as of Thursday, pending further investigation, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department officials.
Bjorkman has been arrested on two felony counts of sexual assault, notated under Nevada Law as 200.366.2b, which states that “if no substantial bodily harm to the victim results, by imprisonment in the state prison for life with the possibility of parole, with eligibility for parole beginning when a minimum of 10 years has been served.”
KHTS reached out to Bjorkman’s lawyer, David Chesnoff, a Las Vegas-based criminal defense attorney who has represented multiple celebrities, for comment, with no success.
Bjorkman’s case is set to have a hearing in the Las Vegas Justice Court on March 16, 2020.

It’s news that he was charged. If he’s acquitted they’ll print that too. Do you people not get how news works? Do you think you only print news after a trial is over? Learn something. The unfortunate part was that he was charged to begin with not that KHTS did their job and reported it.

Hey Leigh Anne it seems you have put yourself out there with statements about Mr. Bjorkmans behavior and assaulted his character without sharing any evidence to support your statement. Are you coming forward as a women who was assaulted by Mr. Bjorkman? It’s sounds like your stating second hand gossip which has not been even reported to authorities as much as been proven in a court of law.
If I were you I would keep my mouth shut unless you have a eye witness account of the behavior you so freely spewed in this comment section. It’s always amazing to me when things like this are reported and people like you make statements and allegations on second hand information that I would consider gossip. Do you remember the allegations against justice Kavenaugh ? Let the court system hamdle these allegations and see if they are true with merrit or not. Unless you have eyewitness information about Mr. Bjorkman that substantiate the other parties claim, then I recommend you keep your mouth shut.

If his wife never thought this was possible, then she is completely blinded. It has been a long time coming and Karma has caught up with him. It is his family that will have to live with the lasting repercussions of his past actions. So terrible. I wish that his entire family, immediate and extended have the strength, will, and drive to survive this.

You made some strong comments about Mr Bjorkman. Have you witnessed a sexual assault on some one you know by Mr. Bjorkman? If you have then contact the Authorities because your a witness, and if you have not then keep your gossip mouth shut. You have no business making statements in the newspaper blog true or not true. Would you like it if I reported on this Blog that many people who know Leigh Ann has egregious behavior out in the social public? How does that make you feel? Your 2 cents does no good for either party, so instead of writing gossip why don’t you drive to Starbucks for your triple mocha latte in your new suburban and hope no one reads these blogs and knows that your the leigh Ann that I just wrote about.
