Remember our post a few weeks ago re: a package theft that occurred on Palomita Drive? We shared pictures of the suspect and the suspect’s vehicle & asked for your help in identifying. You came through for us! WITHIN HOURS OF THE POST being made, tips started rolling in. Because of tips received from the public, our detective was able to ID the vehicle and driver–the one who was waiting in the car when the man pictured below took the package containing electronics.

Detectives identified the suspects as being involved in TWO ADDITIONAL CRIMES and they served a search warrant at a residence in Tujunga on Dec 19. The search led to the RECOVERY OF NUMEROUS STOLEN ITEMS, including personal belongings taken in two residential burglaries that occurred in the San Fernando Valley, and two thefts from Kohl’s Department stores, one of which was in Santa Clarita. A sizeable amount of narcotics were also seized. Three persons were arrested at the residence, two females for outstanding warrants and the male who was the owner and driver of the blue vehicle. On Dec. 21, the male was formally arraigned on 7 felony counts related to several thefts and narcotics possession charges, and remains in custody with bail set at $70,000.

Note: Detectives are still seeking more information about the man in picture below– the one who took package and got into the car being driven by the suspect who was arrested. If you have any additional tips to submit, please call Detective O’Brien at 661-255-1121 Ext. 2317 or call LA Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222 TIPS (8477).

Thank you SCV!
