SCV Sheriff’s Station Seeks Help Identifying Maserati Linked To Catalytic Converter Thefts

The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station has issued a request for public assistance in identifying a vehicle suspected of involvement in a series of catalytic converter thefts in the area.

According to a press release from the SCV Sheriff’s Station, the vehicle is believed to be connected to multiple incidents of theft targeting catalytic converters, a crime that has seen a rise in communities across Southern California.

The vehicle has been described as a dark gray 2015-2019 Maserati Quattroporte, a four-door sedan with chrome wheels and dark-tinted windows.

The targeted vehicles include Toyota Prius, Toyota Corolla, and Toyota Tacoma models. The thefts occurred during the early morning hours.

The station asks residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity or information that may assist in the investigation.

The Sheriff’s Station also reminds residents to take preventive measures to protect their vehicles, such as parking in well-lit areas and using anti-theft devices for catalytic converters.

Anyone with details about the suspect vehicle is encouraged to call the SCV Sheriff’s Station Detective Fleck at  661-287-5609 or email at [email protected].

  1. When these A-holes are caught, please lock them up for at least 5 years to set an example to other misfits that our community will not stand for this kind of behavior.
