Tuesday evening, deputies from the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station, Special Assignment Team (SAT), pulled over a stolen car.

The deputies had been patrolling the Valencia area near Magic Mountain Parkway when they came across a vehicle flagged in the system as stolen, according to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

“A traffic stop was conducted, and the field investigation resulted in the arrest of a 19-year-old on felony grand theft vehicle charges,” stated a social media post by the station.

The teen was identified as Jose Fuentes Rivas from Los Angeles and was with two other men at the time of the stop, according to the post.
