A suspect fled from deputies after a traffic stop in Valencia Friday morning, officials said.

The incident was reported around 8 a.m. Friday near Magic Mountain Parkway and McBean Parkway, according to deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

The suspect is wanted for felony drug sale warrants, according to deputies at the scene.

A containment was set up in the area, and deputies are searching inside a vehicle near Wells Fargo in the River Oaks Shopping Center, according to Sheriff’s officials.

As of 9:15 a.m. Friday, the suspect remains outstanding.
