A woman found huffing aerosol in her crashed car was arrested for driving under the influence in Santa Clarita.
On Friday, deputies with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to reports of a crash near the intersection of Bouquet and Plum Canyon Roads in Saugus and found a woman in a crashed car huffing aerosol in her driver’s seat, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“Deputies detained the female and conducted field sobriety tests upon which they determined she had been driving under the influence of narcotics,” Arriaga said.
Deputies also found out the woman had been convicted for felony driving under the influence before, and determined that her driver’s license was suspended.
Jessica Morsesquashen, 35, was arrested on felony charges for DUI and driving with a suspended license.
She was brought into the SCV Sheriff’s Station with bail set at $100,000. Morsesquashen was later released on bond.
