The woman who died after being struck by a car in Newhall last week has been identified.
Kimberley Shoemaker, 45, was the woman who died after being hit by a car in Newhall, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Just before 11 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025, Shoemaker was struck by a car on Railroad Avenue near Market Street in Newhall, Sgt. Perkins with the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station confirmed to KHTS.
She was transported to Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital and died around 3 a.m. the next day, according to officials.
Perkins says, the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
