Transformer blows, leaving businesses without power.

[view:node_ad=5]At about 4:30 Saturday evening, a power transformer
exploded, cutting off power to businesses around Valencia Blvd and Bouquet Canyon Rd.

The incident also caused live power lines to fall into the street,
which forced officials to close Bouquet Canyon Rd. at Valencia Blvd while cleanup efforts got
underway.

By 7:30 p.m., the roadway had been re-opened and power had
been restored.
