A downed traffic light caused a traffic build-up along Soledad Canyon Road and North Shangri La Drive in Canyon Country Tuesday evening, according to officials.
An initial report of a vehicle collision with a pole was reported at approximately 4:45 p.m., according to officials.
“A single vehicle versus a pole caused the pole to come down,” said Supervisor Melinda Choi for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
One lane of traffic going eastbound on Soledad Canyon Road is open to drivers, according to witnesses of the incident.
As of 5:45 p.m. it is not known whether the driver of the vehicle sustained injuries or how long it will take until the pole is removed from the road.
