The William S. Hart Union High School District Chief Operating Officer has chosen not to renew his contract set to expire in June 2016.

At the Governing Board meeting held on Wednesday, Sept. 9, the board accepted Ben Rodriguez’s resignation, effective Sept. 30.

With several projects and initiatives pending that will span several years, Rodriguez feels it makes sense to spend the time now to recruit and transition someone who can become fully immersed in these projects. Rodriguez will be assisting in this transition.

Superintendent Vicki Engbrecht and the Hart District Governing Board want to thank Rodriguez for his nearly three years of service to the district.
