The unnamed teacher was kicked off of school property and barred from ever teaching on that campus again, according to Dave Caldwell, William S. Hart Union High School District spokesperson.
“Once administrators spoke with the substitute, she was asked to leave campus,” said Caldwell. “Steps have been taken to ensure they will not be able to teach on the campus again.”
No charges have been made as of Tuesday evening, but Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies are looking into the incident, according to Sheriff’s officials.
“We are aware of the incident and have taken a report,” said Shirley Miller, a Spokeswoman for the SCV Station. “Deputies are currently investigating.”
The teacher in question allegedly threatened the student during a political discussion Monday, Miller said.
This incident comes at the heels of multiple other threats to Santa Clarita Valley schools in the past week.
A 15-year-old was charged with criminal threats after telling a fellow student he would “Shoot Up” SCVi in Castaic.
Another student, 17, was also charged for allegedly making a social media threat to West Ranch High School.
