A night of fun and fundraising helped the Santa Clarita Valley Senior Center receive funding from the 2016 Celebrity Waiter Dinner, this year themed, “A Night of Fun and Games.”

The fundraiser brought in $39,000 from a live auction and the “Buy a Bus” campaign that earned more than $40,000 to raise funds for a new bus for the residents of the center. The final total brought in by the event is not known yet, as officials are adding in sponsorships and money earned from script sales by the “celebrity waiters” during the event.
