The 15th annual Vine2Wine event was held at California Institute of the Arts in Valencia and all proceeds will help the uninsured and underinsured Circle of Hope clients who face various cancer battles in the community, according to Janice Murray, a board member for the nonprofit.vine2wine16-6

“It’s really a relief to see so many people come together to help our organization, and it’s just awesome that people believe in our mission,” said Taylor Kellstrom, vice president for Circle of Hope. “That’s why they’re here.”

This was the first year that the 26-year-old held the lead in organizing the event, which took around six months to plan.

Different vendors offered multiple selections of wine, craft beer and food to provide attendees with an all-you-can-eat-and-drink spread.

Nola Aronson’s Advanced Audiology, a title sponsor for the event presented the non-profit cancer organization with a donation of $2,500.

“I was very lucky to have insurance and a lot of people are not that lucky, so I want to help them be a survivor like me,” said Aronson, who defeated breast cancer after being diagnosed 16 years ago.

An auction and casino games were also available to round out the night, set behind tunes provided by local musician Lance Allyn.

Presenting sponsor Logix Federal Credit Union, also provided Circle of Hope with a $10,000 check.

  1. Cancer is A Weed that attacks the body. Like A sea weed that’s why it looks like A sea weed cell under the microscope. An octopus is a living sea weed. Aids is also A wet sea weed it looks like algae under A microscope. Lack of nitrogen kills sea weed and paroxide and heating it up. I Am the person who help defeat Ebola it was A form of rabies. Figure out how to kill sea weed in the body and no more people will suffer. Im Emeco Williams on Fb
