Being held at the Valencia Town Centre, local former Marines from the USMC will join active Marines to read the 1921 birthday message from General John Lejeune, the 13th Commandant of the Marine Corps, and present the traditional cake to the youngest Marine present.

The event acts as an annual renewal of each Marine’s commitment to the Corps and the Corp’s commitment to defending the nation’s interests.

The event will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015 at 12 p.m. at the Armed Forces Career Center in the Valencia Town Centre, located at 24201 Town Center Drive.
