Laser Spectacular featuring the Music of Pink Floyd at the PAC

What: Paramount’s “Laser Spectacular” is the smash hit multimedia laser and light show featuring the music of Pink Floyd. The show has become a favorite with progressive rock fans of all ages as it presents the music of Pink Floyd like you’ve never seen it before. Surrounded by walls of concert-quality sound, “Laser Spectacular” carries listeners away on a mind-expanding journey driven by cutting-edge effects, high-powered lasers, hi-def large screen video projection and special lighting effects. Viewed though specially designed 3-D glasses, the audience is drawn into this magical production, often singing along with the remastered soundtrack.

Santa Clarita Encore Chorale Spring Semester
When: Fridays at 4 p.m. starting Jan. 10
Where: Newhall Church of the Nazarene, 23857 The Old Road in Newhall
What: Santa Clarita Encore Chorale, a nonprofit choir program for seniors, invites adults age 55 or more to join their Spring 2020 semester. The music theme will be “Encore Goes to the Theater,” with favorite Broadway and movie songs from Fiddler on the Roof, Mamma Mia, Phantom of the Opera, Sound of Music, Greatest Showman and West Side Story. A semester tuition of $150 helps cover music and facilities costs. The first rehearsal is FREE with no obligation to continue. Auditions are not required. New singers will be accepted through Feb. 7. SCAA Artist Reception: “Time to Reflect”
When: Friday, Jan. 10 at 5 p.m.

What: “Time to Reflect” is about art representing inner and outer resolutions, physical reflections, self-discovery or looking back on the past. There will be a FREE reception to meet the artists on Jan. 10. This exhibition runs through Feb. 16 and will include wall paintings, jewelry, decor items and one-of-a-kind gift items. Small and miniature pieces will also be available for purchase. Artists will provide live demonstrations on selected days throughout the show.
